Metal Earth 3D Model Apollo Lunar Module Description
With the Metal Earth 3D Model Apollo Lunar Module model kit, you can make your very own replica spaceship that travelled to the moon!
This spacecraft has two parts to carry a 2 person crew from lunar orbit to the surface of the moon and back. The descent stage works as the launch pad for the ascent stage while also holding all the needed landing gear, engines and fuel needed for landing.
There has since been six such craft that successfully landed on the Moon between 1969 and 1972, and now you can build and display your own.
It is a perfect collector addition or an ideal moon & space space-themed gift. Assemble the ultra-thin metal pieces using the slot and tab design, no glue is required!
You may need some tweezers to assist with intricate parts, and some patience as you take on the detailed task with accuracy!
